Babak Bamdad - Chief and Director of the Lincoln Hospital Pharmacy

Babak Bamdad

After completing Talmudic law coursework at the Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore, Maryland, Babak Bamdad enrolled at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, where his academic work in the fields of biochemistry and molecular biology earned him an Undergraduate Research Award. He subsequently attended graduate school for pharmacy at New York's Long Island University (LIU), where he maintained a 3.8 grade point average and received honors that ranged from a New Preceptor Award to an Award for Excellence in Medication Use. Babak Bamdad graduated from LIU in 1997 with his doctor of pharmacy.

Babak Bamdad has directed operations in the Pharmacy Department of New York City's Lincoln Hospital for the past eight years, a position he came to after serving six months as a Lincoln Hospital night pharmacist in charge. After being named director and chief, he proceeded to establish three new retail pharmacy retail locations within his first year.

When he isn’t working, Mr. Bamdad remains active with Jewish scholarship through his support of the Chabad of Baltimore and the Chabad of Great Neck. He also enjoys playing billiards, chess, and poker.
